Mr. Ervin Woods                                          Maxton      Mr. Ervin Woods, 72, of 82 Brooklyn Drive, was born June 28, 1938 and died Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents:  Mr. Monroe and Mrs. Cora Lee Woods; a son: Mr. Ricky Woods; a daughter:  Mrs. Teresa Ann Locklear; a granddaughter:  Miss Nicoya Blue; and four brothers:  Mr. Hub Woods, Mr. Mickey Woods, Mr. Jimmie Woods, and Mr. Roosevelt Woods.      The funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010, at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs: Fredrick Locklear, Kelvin Locklear and Jimmie Bullard officiating.  Burial will follow in the White Hill Church Cemetery.      Mr. Woods leaves to cherish his memories his wonderful wife of 51 years: Mrs. Perline Woods of the home; two sons: Rev. Timmie Woods and wife Darlen, Mr. Ron Woods and wife Valinda; a loving daughter: Mrs. Jacqueline W. Locklear and husband Greg; a brother: Mr. Jerry Woods and wife Hazel of Red Springs; two sisters: Mrs. Sandra Rutledge and husband Frank, Mrs. Maggie Woods of Red Springs; a sister-in-law Mrs. Gerlene Woods, eleven grandchildren and eight wonderful great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.      The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
