Mr. James Flimmings White, 82, of 4864 Elrod Road, Rowland was born October 11, 1926 and died Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Oak Hill Hospital in Spring Hill, Florida. He was the son of the late Mr. Noal Hersley White and Ms. Callie Mae Deese.
The funeral will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Deese Family Cemetery.
Mr. White is survived by his wife: Mrs. Rosa Jane White; three sons: Mr. James Kelly White, Mr. Mitchell Lee White and Mr. John Eric White; a brother: Mr. Charles Jacobs; three sisters: Ms. Ouida Nash, Ms. Frances Locklear and Ms. Pandora Barnett; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
