Obituaries

Mrs. Dalie Tyner                                       Pembroke      Mrs. Dalie Lowery Tyner, 87, of 117 Macie Rd., Pembroke was born June 10, 1923 and entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House.  She is preceded in death by her parents:  Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Allie Lowery; her husband:  Mr. Richard “Buckie” Tyner and a daughter:  Mrs. Brenda Faye Lowry.      The funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Locklear and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev:  Donald Bullard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Redmond Locklear Family Cemetery.      Mrs. Tyner leaves to cherish her memory a sister:  Mrs. Mollie Bell Smith, and many nieces and nephews, as well as a special caregiver:  Ms. Brenda Morgan; and a host of relatives and friends.  A special thanks to Southeastern Hospice House.      The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Locklear and Son Funeral Home.
