Mr. James Earl Thompson, 28, of Clark Rd., Maxton was born May 28, 1981 in Guilford County, North Carolina and departed this life Sunday, September 20, 2009.
The funeral will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Sycamore Hill Holiness Church with the Revs: Terry Cummings and Billy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his mother: Ms. Jamie Joan Locklear and his father: Mr. Arnold Thompson both of Maxton; a brother: Mr. Arnold Thompson, Jr. of Maxton; a sister: Ms. Ann Thompson of Maxton; a daughter Ms. Jasmine Thompson of Red Springs; his foster parents: Mr. Kirmet and Mrs. Sylvia Locklear of Maxton; foster brothers: Mr. Lloyd Kinston Locklear, Mr. Kris Locklear and Mr. Jeffery A. Locklear all of Maxton and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
