Mr. Anthony Wendell Swett, 56, of 6809 US Hwy 74 West, was born February 5, 1955 and died Sunday, December 25, 2011, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mrs. Annette Locklear Swett.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Berea Baptist Church with the Revs: Chris Hunt, Bruce Swett and Bro. Stanford Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Swett is survived by his wife: Mrs. Gwendolyn Dale Swett of the home; two sons: Mr. Aaron Demetric Swett and Mr. Justin Purnell Swett; a daughter: Ms. Magan Louann Swett; his father: Mr. Purnell Swett; a sister: Ms. Valeria Swett; seven grandchildren: Joseph Aaron Swett, Jeremiah Dakota Swett, Jordan Ashley Swett, James Anthony Swett, Jadelyn Makena Swett “Lucy”, Zachariah Oakley Steen and Jillian Maggie Swett and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home. |
