Ms. Wanda Mae Scott, 55, of 2749 Mt. Olive Church Road, was born July 24, 1951 and departed this life on Monday, April 2, 2007 at Duke University Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Ander and Mrs. Annie Scott; and Mr. Michael Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2007, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Revs: David Lowery and Kelly Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Locklear Family Cemetery.
Ms. Scott is survived by two sons: Mr. Phillip Scott of Pembroke and Mr. Alexander Locklear of the home; six brothers: Mr. Earl Scott, Mr. Thomas Scott, Mr. Delton R. Scott, Mr. Charlie Scott all of Pembroke, Mr. Michael Scott of Lumberton, and Mr. John A. Scott of St. Pauls; five sisters: Mrs. Winnie Locklear, Mrs. Nancy Bullard, Mrs. Annettie Scott, Mrs. Betty Bullard, Mrs. Veronica Scott all of Pembroke; one granddaughter: Miss Nakayah Scott Lowery and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2007, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
