Mr. Edmond Junior Scott, age 56, was born on September 21, 1952 and died Monday, April 6, 2009, at Southeastern Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his brother: Mr. Cliff Maynor, Jr.; his maternal grandparents: Mr. Charles & Mrs. Pearlie Scott (Papa & Mama) of Laurel Hill and an aunt: Ms. Juanita Scott.
The funeral will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everette Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Holiness Church Cemetery.
Mr. Edmond leaves to cherish his memories: his mother: Ms. Martha Lee Maynor; three sisters: Ms. Pamila Maynor Locklear, Mrs. Linda Maynor Eddings and Ms. Teresa A. Maynor; four nieces and two nephews; his aunts: Ms. Shirley, Ms. Lois, Ms. Helen, Ms. Margie, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Clavie and Ms. Mary and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
