Mr. William Archie Oxendine 

                                      Maxton
    
Mr. William Archie Oxendine, 69, of 128 Cabinet Shop Road, was born October 29, 1941 and departed this life to his eternal home on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Archie Brown & Mrs. Lucy Bell Thompson Oxendine.
    
Mr. William touched many lives through his selfless acts of kindness.  He was always willing to be of service to others.
    
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs: Frederick Locklear, Dufrene Cummings, James Kelvin Locklear officiating.  Burial will follow in the White Hill Church Cemetery.
    
Mr. Oxendine leaves to cherish his memories: his wife: Mrs. Gertha Oxendine of the home; a son: Mr. Robbie Oxendine and his wife: Mrs. Samantha; a daughter: Mrs. Debbie Locklear and her husband: Mr. Broderick all of Maxton; a sister-in-law: Ms. Florence “Fannie” Jacobs of the home; two sisters: Mrs. Lula Bell Deese and her husband: Mr. William of Greensboro and Ms. Eva Mae Oxendine of Maxton; three grandchildren: Kiersten Delaney Locklear, Zachary Ross Oxendine and Brandon Brice Locklear of Maxton and a host of relatives and friends.
    
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 28, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
