Mr. Tommy Lynn Maynor, 56, of 247 Pitt Bull Road died Monday, March 15, 2010, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother: Ms. Ruth Oxendine and his grandparents: Mr. Gilbert & Mrs. Myrtle Maynor.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with the Revs: Steve Strickland, Keith Long, Bro. Harlie Locklear, Jr. and Bro. Lacy Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife: Mrs. Rockey Maynor of the home; two daughters: Ms. Monica Brayboy and Ms. Shenell Locklear both of Pembroke; four brothers: Mr. David Oxendine of Pembroke, Mr. Morrison Oxendine, Mr. James Oxendine both of Red Springs and Mr. Shird R. Oxendine of Lumberton; four sisters: Ms. Jeanne Lowry of Lumberton, Ms. Wanda Locklear of Laurel Hill, Ms. Barbara Oxendine of Winston Salem and Ms. Samantha Oxendine of Pembroke and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
