Pembroke
Ms. Susan B. Locklear, 64, of 96 Hiawatha Road, Pembroke, was born September 19, 1946 and died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Henry & Mrs. Nora B. Oxendine Baker and her husband Mr. John L. Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Mt. Olive Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs: Stevie Jacobs, Bobby Deal, Henry Oxendine and Timmie Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are a son: Mr. John C. Locklear of Pembroke; four daughters: Ms. Cindy Locklear of Pembroke, Ms. Kendria Oxendine of Panama City Beach, Fl, Ms. Lori Sue Oxendine of Maxton and Ms. Skylar D. Oxendine of Pembroke; five brothers: Mr. A. D. Baker of Rockingham, Mr. Willie Baker of Monroe, Mr. Johnny Baker, Mr. Randy Baker both of Pembroke and Mr. Delbert Baker of West Columbia, SC; a sister: Ms. Debra Hammond of Pembroke; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7- 9 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home. |
