Mr. Stanley Locklear, Jr., 58, of 7900 Hwy 72 West, was born November 18, 1948 and died, Friday, March 23, 2007, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Stanley & Mrs. Carabell Locklear and a brother: Mr. Charlie F. Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs: Hilton Woodell and Marlie Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are three brothers: Delton Locklear & wife: Rachel, Daniel Locklear & wife: Alice and Milton R. Locklear all of Pembroke; six sisters: Shirley Locklear, Evelyn Locklear, Lee Ila Oxendine & husband: Jimmy, Ann Sue Brewington & husband: Lambert all of Pembroke, Velma Edwards & husband: Lloyd of Indian Trail and Thelma Locklear & husband: Lawrence of Lumberton; a sister-in-law: Clella K. Locklear of Pembroke; special nieces: Belinda Porter & husband: Dell, Iola Woodell & husband: Hilton, his heart: Krystin T. Woodell and his best friend: Walter Lee Locklear.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 25, 2007, from 2-3:30p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
