Mrs. Rachel Ann Locklear                                       Lumberton      Mrs. Rachel Ann Locklear, 57, of 567 Eddie Sampson Road, Lumberton began this journey September 8, 1952 and departed this life on Thursday, July 8, 2010 into the eternal presence of her heavenly father.  She is preceded in death by her parents:  Mr. Hosie and Mrs. Mary Ruth Sampson; her husband:  Mr. Delton Locklear; a grandson:  Master Jamie Austin Taylor; and one great-granddaughter:  Miss Hailey Maria Meggison.      The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Pembroke Gospel Chapel with the Rev:  Thomas Oxendine and Bro Howard Brooks.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Church Cemetery.      Mrs. Locklear leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons:  Mr. Jamie Lynn Oxendine and Mr. Jamie Locklear of the home; two granddaughters:  Miss Brittany Maria Oxendine of Red Springs, Miss Cheyanne Oxendine of Laurinburg; a brother:  Mr. Roger Dale Sampson and wife Mrs. Herlon of Lumberton; two sisters:  Mrs. Julika Allen and husband Mr. Otis of Dunn and Mrs. Lori Staples and husband Mr. John of Denver and a host of relatives and friends.      The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Pembroke Gospel Chapel.
