Ms. Katina Renee Locklear, 29, of 976 Beam Road, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Duke University Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1977 in Lumberton, NC. She was preceded in death by her father: Tom Lewis Woods; a brother: Kenneth “Papa” Deese; her maternal grandparents: Adnell & Bertha Mae Locklear and her paternal grandfather: Lewis Woods.
The funeral will be conducted 4 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007, at Burnt Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Long and Bro. Tary Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnt Swamp Church Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters: Kianna Eve Lewis and Diamond Faith Lewis both of Raeford; a son: Kelton Lynn Locklear of Lumberton; her mother and step-father: Betty L. & Benjamin Oxendine; two brothers: Benjamin Oxendine, Jr. and Quentin Oxendine both of Lumberton; a special aunt: Annie Lois Locklear of Lumberton and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
