Mr. James Junior Locklear, 45, of 167 Tilman Cox Road, was born June 13, 1962 and died, Sunday, December 2, 2007, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mrs. Shirley Lynn Locklear; a sister: Ms. Connie Jean Locklear; his grandfather: Mr. George Albert Locklear and an uncle: Mr. Albert Lee Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 6, 2007, at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Locklear Family Cemetery.
Surviving are his father: Mr. James Albert Locklear of Pembroke; three sons: Mr. James D. Locklear, Mr. Johnathan Locklear and Mr. Donta Locklear; two daughters: Ms. Natosha Locklear and Ms. Natesha Locklear all of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers: Mr. Vincent Ray Locklear, Mr. Terry Lynn Locklear both of Walkertown, NC and Mr. Martin Dean Locklear of Hillsdale, NC; two sisters: Ms. Lisa Ann Ball of Kernersville, NC and Ms. Veanna Christian of Lumberton; his grandmother: Mrs. Veola Locklear of Pembroke; four grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 05, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
