Mr. Jacob Locklear, age 73, of 2957 Red Hill Road, was born May 10, 1938 and died Monday, September 5, 2011 at Scotland Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Ms. Teresa Fay Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Sycomore Hill Church with the Revs: Roger Adkins and Floyd Hunt. Burial will follow in the Sycomore Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 54 years: Mrs. Fannie Sue Locklear of the home; two sons: Mr. Joe Pat Locklear of Laurinburg and Mr. Jacky Locklear of Maxton; two daughters: Ms. Cassie Locklear and Ms. Carol Jean Locklear of Maxton; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother: Mr. Joseph Locklear of Maxton; two sisters: Ms. Adelia Locklear and Ms. Shirley Locklear of Pembroke; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home. |
