Mr. Glen Thomas Locklear, 61, of 1005 Hwy 211 West, was born December 25, 1949 and died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Willie French Locklear and a sister: Ms. Mary Joyce Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home with the Revs: Terry Locklear and Gary Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years: Mrs. Judith Ann Locklear of the home; two daughters: Mrs. Lisa Michelle Chavis and her husband: Mr. Tony Lee of Maxton and Mrs. Teresa Lyn Bullard and her husband: Mr. Michael Edward of Red Springs; a son: Mr. Glen Keith Locklear and his wife: Mrs. Sherry of Shannon; his mother: Ms. Lillie Mae Locklear of Red Springs; three brothers: Mr. Leon Locklear and his wife: Mrs. Carolyn, Mr. Leon “Papa” Locklear, Jr. both of Red Springs and Mr. Jeff Locklear and his wife: Mrs. Bonnie of Raeford; a sister: Ms. Vonnie Lewis and her husband: Mr. Tommy of Red Springs; four grandchildren: Tony Lee “T” Chavis, Jr., Sasha Michelle “Moose” Chavis both of Maxton, Takonna Lyn “Nukie” Bullard and Michael Takoda “Koda” Bullard both of Red Springs and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home. |
