Mr. Emanuel Earl “Man” Kamalu, 27, of 264 Wynn Road, was born October 19, 1980 and departed this life on Friday, June 27, 2008 at Scotland Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by a brother: William Hartly Kamalu and his grandparents: Orlan & Lee Quick and William P. Kamalu.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Pembroke Assembly of God with the Revs: Nancy Williamson, Anna Oxendine and Matthew Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anna Church Cemetery.
Emanuel is survived by: his mom: Bernice Faye Quick of the home; his dad: William Earl Kamalu of Rowland; a brother: Timothy E. Kamalu of Rowland; two sisters: Donna M. Emanuel of Lumberton and Lakisha F. Jacobs of Rowland; his grandparents: Pete & Meta Hughes of Rowland and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 01, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
