Ms. Mary Lois Jones of 83 Square Lane, Shannon, was born May 25, 1939 and died on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John Henry & Mrs. Jessie Bell Locklear Jones.
The funeral will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Welcome Holiness Church with the Revs: Rocky Williamson, Jerry Chavis and Terrell McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the Welcome Holiness Church Cemetery.
Ms. Jones is survived by a brother: Mr. L. H. Jones of Shannon; five sisters: Ms. Annie P. Jones, Mrs. Barbara A. Hammonds both of Shannon, Mrs. Rosie Locklear of Spring Lake, Mrs. Mable Moore of Bolton and Mrs. Irene Maynor of Red Springs; five nephews, six nieces and twenty-two great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
