Master H. Jayden “Lil Cod” “Da Man” Jones, 11 months, of 154 Kristian Lane, Lumberton was born in Scotland County on June 30, 2007 and went home to rejoice with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents: Mr. Granford & Mrs. Verlin Graham, maternal great-grandfather: Mr. James C. Locklear and Uncle Jerry Hardin.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 7, 2008, at St. Anna Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs: Tony Miller and Edward Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Family Cemetery.
Little Jayden leaves behind to cherish his memories; his mother: Ms. Lakrisha Oxendine and his father: Mr. H. Kelly Jones; a brother: Master Justin Jones of Kentucky; seven sisters: Miss Kayden Jones, Miss Hayden Jones, Miss Lakoyah Lowery all of the home, Miss Kara S. Jones, Miss Andrea Oxendine, Miss Kayley Jones all of Pembroke and Miss Elizabeth Jones of Columbia, SC; his maternal grandparents: Mr. Russell & Mrs. Patsy Oxendine of Maxton; maternal great-grandmother: Mrs. Lena Locklear of Maxton; paternal grandparents: Mr. Harry & Mrs. Dorine Jones of Pembroke; a nephew: Master Justin Jones of Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 6, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
