Mr. Redell Jacobs, Jr. 67, of 321 Olie Dr., Pembroke was born August 14, 1940 and departed this life Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Redell and Mrs. Stella Jacobs; and a brother: Mr. Colonel Ray Jacobs.
The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs: Buck Bowen and Lindbergh Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.
Mr. Jacobs is survived by his wife: Mrs. Sarah L. Jacobs of Pembroke; two daughters: Ms. Lorie Jacobs of Pembroke and Mrs. Nettie Amendola of Fayetteville; a son: Mr. Windell Jacobs of Pembroke; six grandchildren: Joshua Jacobs, Taylor Campbell, Harley Jacobs, Peyton Jacobs, Antoinette Amendola, and Jada Jacobs; one great-great granddaughter: Josslie Jacobs; and a special aunt: Mrs. Tamer Graham and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 31, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
