Mrs. Frances Adlaide Deese Jacobs, age 84 of 1824 NC Hwy 710 North, was born March 19, 1925 and died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Southeastern Hospice House.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2009, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs Henry Oxendine and Hilton Woodell officiating. Burial will follow in the Deese Family Cemetery.
Surviving are one beloved daughter: Ms. Patsy Jacobs Hunt of Pembroke; two grandchildren: Mrs. Donna H. Locklear and her husband Mr. Timothy and Mr. Patrick Hunt and his wife Mrs. Jackie; four great-grandchildren: Dustin Locklear, Hillary Locklear, Alysa Hunt and Seth Locklear all of Pembroke; two sisters, Christine Woolford of Dallas, NC and Isa P. Valandra of Rapid City, South Dakota; four special caregivers: Sue Ellen Hunt, Inez Rice, Doreen Locklear and Mary Britt; many nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
