Mr. Bobby Earl “Bubba” Hunt, 65, of 120 Etta Drive, was born on September 1, 1946 and departed this life on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at First Health Moore Regional Center. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Peter & Mrs. Etta Jane Hunt; his brother: Mr. Enaris Hunt; and his son: Mr. Bobby Len Hunt.
Mr. Hunt was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing with his nephew: Mr. Keithan Hunt and the boys and working on the farm.
The funeral will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Prospect United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunt Family Cemetery.
Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife of 40 years: Mrs. Peggy Hunt of the home; three sons: Mr. Jonathan G. Hunt of Hickory, NC; Mr. Charles Phillip Hunt of Pembroke, NC, and Mr. Jeremy Hunt of the home; four brothers: Mr. Edsol Hunt of Maxton, NC; Mr. Gurney Hunt, Mr. Gerald Hunt, and Mr. Joseph Hunt all of Pembroke, NC; one sister: Mrs. Carrie Mable Jones of Pembroke, NC; six grandchildren: Shania, Charles, Cole, Bobby, Chloe, and Trenden; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home. Viewing will be one hour prior to services at the church. |
