Mrs. Macy Locklear Godwin, 47, of 534 Albert Road, was born January 16, 1960 and died Friday, July 20, 2007 at her home. She was the wife of the late Ronald Godwin.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at St. Anna Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs: Tony Miller, Jackson Locklear and Dr. Dalton Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Swamp Church Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter: Gwen Locklear and her fiancée: Michael Collins; two sons: Marcus Locklear and Gary Locklear all of the home; her mother: Daphina Brooks Locklear; five brothers: Phillip Ray Locklear, Allen Kendale Locklear, Perry Marcus Locklear, Otis Locklear all of Pembroke and Thaniel Locklear of Red Springs and a welcomed brother: Deputy Welton Locklear; four sisters: Velenda Morgan, Phyllis Lynn Locklear both of Pembroke, Diane Locklear of Red Springs and Denise Locklear Hunt of Lumberton; four grandchildren: Uriah Oxendine, Nevaeh Lajade Brayboy, Gage Locklear and Aiydan Myca Collins and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the residence, 534 Albert Road, Pembroke.
