Mrs. Tanya S. Cummings                                        Pembroke      Mrs. Tanya S. Cummings, 42, of 619 Philadelphus Rd. was born July 15, 1968 and died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her home.  She was preceded in death by her son: Mr. Quentin Kent Cummings; her paternal grandparents: Mr. William Berry & Mrs. Pearl Strickland; her maternal grandparents: Mr. Benny & Mrs. Maude Hunt; and her mother-in-law:  Mrs. Diane Bullard.      The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Union Chapel Community Baptist Church with the Revs:  Mike Cummings, Steve Strickland, and Scott Nobles officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Anna Church Cemetery.      Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband:  Mr. Kent Cummings; two sons:  Mr. William Vincent Cummings and Mr. Benjamin Tyee Cummings; and a daughter:  Ms. Alana Bren Cummings all of the home; her parents:  Rev. Jimmy and Mrs. Brenda Strickland; a brother:  Mr. James Berry Strickland and wife Mrs. Beth; and a sister:  Ms. Lanedra Strickland all of Pembroke; two specials nephews:  Keithan and Cayden (Papa); a niece:  Miss Kailey and a host of relatives and friends.      The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Locklear and Son Funeral Home.
