ROWLAND
Mr. James A. Clark 69, of 6894 Elrod Rd., Rowland, was born March 12, 1938 and died Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents: Vander & Sarah Clark; and a son: David L. Clark.
The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2007 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife: Susan L. Clark of the home; two sons: Kenneth Clark of Rowland, and Timothy Clark of Pembroke; two daughters: Doralene Dial and Vicky Locklear both of Rowland; three brothers: Authur Clark, Arnold Clark both of Pembroke, and Melton Clark of Red Springs; six sisters: Lorraine Sampson, Winnie Locklear, Janie Locklear, Marina Sanderson, Rocky Maynor all of Pembroke, and Rosalyn Lowry of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
