Mrs. Annie Sue Bethea Clark, age 55, of 257 Whistling Rufus Road, was born July 2, 1952 to the late Mr. Dunk & Mrs. Annie Bell Oxendine Bethea. She departed this life on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Clark was a dedicated teacher with the Public Schools of Robeson County for 18 years and a devoted member of New Prospect Holiness Methodist Church. She will dearly be missed.
The funeral will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at New Prospect Holiness Methodist Church with the Revs: Perry Roberts, Willie Scott and Bro. Eugene Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the New Prospect Church Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years: Stacy Clark of the home; special sisters-in-law: Sara Bell Locklear, Rugene Clark, Frances Locklear, Lyndora Clark and several brothers-in-law; a special cousin: Carl Oxendine; and several nieces and nephews; the sons she never had: DeMarcus Locklear and Caleb Lowry and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 5, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
