ROWLAND
Mr. Travis Carter, 27, of 179 Heartache Lane, was born July 13, 1979 and died, Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Wadus Carter and a brother: Bruce Lee Carter.
The funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at Pembroke Assembly of God with the Revs: Nancy Williamson and James Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anna Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his mother: Andrea Carter of the home; a brother: Damian Carter of the home; a sister: Meta Wenona C. Locklear and her husband: Jerry J. Locklear of Lumberton; his grandparents: Wade & Hilda Carter of Lumberton and Pete & Meta Hughes of Rowland; a niece: Cassidy Locklear and a nephew: Kendrick Locklear both of Lumberton and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 -9 p.m. Tuesday, February 06, 2007, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
