Mrs. Lucille Bullard, age 86, of 2201 Preston Road, was born October 24, 1924 and died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. James Canady “Peter” Bullard; and grandson: Mr. Hilton James Bullard.
A graveside service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Bullard Family Cemetery with the Bros: Myron A. Sampson and Steve Locklear officiating.
Mrs. Bullard leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter: Ms. Mary B. Jones of Maxton, and her husband Mr. Leon Jones; one son: Mr. Hugh James Bullard of Maxton, and his wife Mrs. Georgia Mae Bullard; one sister: Ms. Ila Mae Oxendine; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; very special friends: Mr. Grady and Ms. Mary Ruth Lowery; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2011, beginning at 6 p.m. at the home. |
