Mr. June “Tweetybuck” Brayboy, Jr., 78, of 960 Canal Road, was born August 27, 1930 and departed this life Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by a son: Stanley Brayboy
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs: Danny Brooks, Jr. and Keith Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Brayboy Family Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife: Lois Ransom Brayboy of the home; five sons: Jerry Bullard and his wife: Debra of Lumberton, Harold Brayboy and his wife: Mary of Pembroke, Melvin Brayboy and his wife: Judy of Maxton, Jackie Brayboy and his wife: Gail and Clayton Brayboy and his wife: Terri both of Red Springs; two brothers: Stacy Brayboy of Pembroke and Frank Brooks of Lumberton; three sisters: Mae Hunt of Lumberton, Inez Freeman of Charlotte and Lillie Strickland of Pembroke; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
