Mrs. Lucille Revels Barton, 82, of 380 Elrod Road, was born October 4, 1927 to the late Mr. Savastion & Mrs. Susie Mae Locklear Sampson and died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Wagram.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Harpers Ferry Baptist Church with the Revs: Donald Bullard & Horace Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow in the Harpers Ferry Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Barton is survived by her husband: Mr. Louis Barton of the home; a son: Mr. Michael Revels of Maxton; two daughters: Mrs. Marcia Coble of Wagram and Mrs. Sybil Schomburg of Spring, Texas; a brother: Mr. John Sampson; three sisters: Ms. Helen Lowry, Mrs. Florence Oxendine and Ms. Deloris Clark; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 24, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
