PEMBROKE
Mrs. Louise Barton, 83, of 286 Redman Road, died Saturday Nov. 10, 2007 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Willie G. Barton; two sons: Mr. Joe Oxendine and Mr. Willie Barton; and one grand-daughter: Ms. Barbara Jo Oxendine.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2007, at Locklear and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs: Kelly Sanderson and Manford Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Locklear Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Barton is survived by a daughter: Mrs. Dorothy B. Maynor of Pembroke; two sons: Mr. Gerald Ray Oxendine of Jacksonville Fl. and Mr. Norman Barton of Petersburg VA; one sister: Ms. Ophelia “Bitsy” Oxendine of Pembroke; grandchildren: Ms. Shelia Barton, Ms. Rose Barton, Mr. Gary Calloway, Mr. Terry Calloway, Mr. Robert Calloway, Ms. Patricia Calloway, Ms. Penny Chavis, Mr. LJ Oxendine, Mr. Michael Jacobs, Mr. Ron Jacobs, Ms. Carla Kay Oxendine, Ms. Ann Marie Oxendine, Ms. Darla Jane Jones, Ms. Sandra Jones; great-grandchildren: Dottie Barton, Tiwana Barton, Crystal Barton, and Jonathon Barton; great-great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Leslie, Kayla, Joshua, Braylon, Ricky, Cheenoah.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. at her home, Wednesday, November 14, 2007.
